If I Were a Kite
I see
Houses
Other kites flying around
Little child playing,
Flying kites
1 see white clouds like bunnies
Like snow
Like polka dots
And the clouds feel soft like cotton
Fighter kites are way up in the air
Zipping through the air
I feel like a bird
Lightning makes me scared
And I fly away
Over it.
I feel the wind against my body
Cool
Cold
And soft as a feather
Birds are singing a beautiful song
Tweet Tweet Tweet
And I hear the wind whispering
S-S-S
I look down and see the ocean
Blue like the sky
And fish,
Orange fish
Like a goldfish cracker
I see UCDS
Rooftops
The classroom
Children playing at recess.
I see Lauren, Jimmy, Alex, Elijah
Ali, Molly, Sydney, Clark, Leland, Jordan
Claire, Stacia, Ellen, and Erin.
